Pros
- It's immune to Spell Card.
- This card can Special Summon Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8 from hand or Deck.
Cons
- Defense is quite low for a monster that requires a tribute. It's susceptible to attacks when switched to defense position.
- You can't use Equip Spells on this card since it's immune to Spell effects.
- It must destroy a monster in order to Special Summon Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8 by its effect.
Tips
Level Modulation
Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 is only unaffected by Spell Cards while face-up on the field. You can use Level Modulation on it to Special Summon it from your Graveyard at the cost of your opponent drawing 2 cards.
Hazy Flame Sphynx
Use Aroma Strategy skill along with Hazy Flame Sphynx to take advantage of its effect. By declaring the correct card type, you can Special Summon Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 from your deck since its attribute is FIRE.
Ultimate Providence
Ultimate Providence can negate Spell, Trap or Monster effect at the cost of discarding the same card type. Since Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 is immune to Spell effects, you can focus on negating trap and monster effects.

You can set Totem Dragon to defend from attacks then Special Summon by its effect on your next Standby Phase and use it as a tribute for Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6.
Negate/Prevent Traps
Use these cards to prevent or negate Trap Cards. Seven Tools of the Bandit can negate trap cards at the cost of paying 1000 Life Points. While Xing Zhen Hu and Sergeant Electro have similar effects that can disable the set Spell/Trap of your of your opponent. Mirage Dragon prevents your opponent from activating traps on Battle Phase and The Dragon's Bead can negate and destroy any traps that targets a Dragon-Type monster.
Negate Effect Monsters
Use these cards to prevent or negate Monster effects. Divine Wrath can negate monster's effect at the cost of discarding 1 card from your hand. Dark Ruler Ha Des and Wicked-Breaking Flamberge - Baou has the same effect, they can negate effects of monsters destroyed by battle. While Paladin of White Dragon and Sasuke Samurai can destroy face-down monsters without activating their flip effects.

Because Necrofear is treated as Equip spell card, and Horus level 6 is unaffected by Spells.

I've used it with mystic box a ton it's a free monster removal, I couldn't tell you how many people have surrendered right after I used it
Does it negate my own spell cards? Like Econ and srh?

Well, this card is unaffected by Spells. SRH would do nothing if you target it to this monster since it's unaffected. The same thing for Level Up as well. Maybe it could benefit though on Enemy Controller since if you tribute-control, there would be no tribute. Same thing for Tenkabito.

Econ still tributes it if you use it, the tribute part of econ is a cost not an effect.

if using horus lvl6 as a cost of spell card you can use those spell cards, like econ and level up
You can activate "Level Up!" and send "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6" to the Graveyard to Special Summon "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8" because sending 1 monster to the Graveyard is a cost for "Level Up!" and if a card is unaffected by Spell Cards, that only refers to effects, not to costs.
Level up doesn't doesnt work on this card. Only lvl 4
